The former Meadowlands Stadium was renamed Metlife Stadium after Metlife Insurance purchased naming rights.  Kenny and Tim have been touring North America this summer during their highly successful “Brothers of the Sun Tour.” The blockbuster tour began in early June in Tampa at the Raymond James Stadium. Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw will be peforming together in Detroit, Michigan at Ford Field on Saturday, August 18th in their 2012 “Brothers of the Sun” tour.   Did you know it’s been ten very long years since this amazing duo has hit the roads together? The “Brothers of the Sun” Tour will premier on June 2nd in Tampa, FL and it will come to many large cities along the way.  As of this date, Kenny and Tim have set up about 20 dates at U.S. Stadiums.

The opening acts for Kenny and Tim at Ford Field in Detroit will be Grace Potter & The Nocturnals and Jake Owen.  Kenny Chesney mentioned that he and Tim are great friends and that they can’t wait to begin their 2012 tour.  He also mentioned that the two of them will be having as much fun as the fans in the audience.

Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw will be peforming together in the Boston area at the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough on Saturday, August 25th as part of their 2012 “Brothers of the Sun” tour.   It has been 10 years since this talented twosome has toured together.  The “Brothers of the Sun” Tour gets underway on June 2nd in Tampa, FL and it will visit many large cities along the way.  So far, there are about 19 planned concerts for this mega tour.
