Roger Waters was born almost 70 years ago in 1943 and he is a charter member of the legendary band Pink Floyd. He was their bass player and also did vocals for this amazing band. In the beginning years of Pink Floyd, he was a co-lead vocalist and as the years went on his duties changed. After the departure of band member, Syd Barrett, Roger became the head songwriter and lyricist. He was also looked upon as being the person in charge of the band. Some of the most popular albums produced by Pink Floyd include: ”Wish You Were Here,” “The Dark Side of the Moon,” and “The Wall.”
For a little of Roger Waters history…. he performed The Wall live in Berlin in 1990 and 200,000 fans came to listen to their longtime hero live. Two decades later in 2010, he began “The Wall Live” in which he performs the album all the way through. In 2011 he was joined by two former band members, Gilmour and Mason at the O2 arena in London to perform the song “Comfortably Numb.” Waters been married in total 4 times and he is proud of his 3 children. His daughter inherited his good looks and she is a fashion model. In fact, Roger just recently remarried in 2012.
